Important Notice from IE-WAY sent 01/16/04

Please be advised that there is an ERRONEOUS Virus Alert being spread. This
virus is targeting all Internet Service Providers. The e-mail sent to
IE-WAY customers, states that it is from the “Internet Expressway or IE-WAY
Virus Support Center” (no such center exists!). The bogus e-mail states
there is a virus on your computer and your Internet services will be shut
down if you do not read the report. Again, this is a virus in disguise! DO
NOT click the associated link. If you receive this e-mail just delete it.

Please make sure your anti-virus software is installed and up to date. If
you do not have anti-virus software, or your current software is expired,
please get it updated! Any of the name brand anti-virus software currently
available is better than nothing. We recommend the AVG product by Grisoft
Inc.
It is free to the individual, very effective and works great WITH the
IE-Way anti-virus filtering service. Remember, the IE-Way anti-virus
filtering scans your incoming e-mail (if you have activated it). You still
need to protect your computer from potential viruses spread by surfing the
net, software and storage media such as CD and floppy disks.

We can and do attempt to make the latest and greatest technology available
to you, but it’s no good if you don’t use it. Contact us if you have any
questions and go to ieway.com for more information.

Sincerely,

The IE-WAY Team
